3 dimensional optical scanning

Defne Engineering can transfer the geometric characteristics of vehicle (from 3mm to 20 meter),product,mold,fixture and similar parts into the computer environment with 3 dimensional measurement techniques by using Breuckmann optoTOP-HE sytem.

Reverse engineering provides solutions for if the manufacturer wants to produce a product which has not been built for long time,when the original design does not have sufficient documents, when the original manufacturer of a product can not be found but the customers need that product, if the product never had any document, need for redesigning the undesirable features of the product, analysing the good and bad characteristics of the competitor’s product, discovering the new ways to improve product performance and characteristics, understanding the competitor’s product, obtaining comparison methods based on competition to develope better products, if the original CAD model is not sufficent for changes and methods of contemporary production, when the original manufacturer of a product demands high price, updating old parts or old production processes today’s technologies and cheaper methods. Digitalization systems are being used to come up with solutions to these processes. A part can be digitalized and prepared in order to generate CAD model with these sytems.

During the 3 dimensional optical scanning, measurement can be done without any need for marking the part. Point cloud ,obtained as a result of optical scanning ,can be used directly in production without any need for additional process
